Branching Out began with me doing exactly that ... picking up a paintbrush again, going out on a limb ... and seeing where it might lead. Somewhere along the way, painting became less about capturing what I see and more about putting feelings on paper - the mood of a place, a memory, a season, or something harder to name. I’m less interested in painting what life looks like, and more interested in painting what it feels like.
